affinity-lowresYou can make a difference in a child's life: Support our annual Affinity Float

For 13 years running, we've set aside a day to take several boat-loads of kids from youth shelters and group homes in western Montana on a whitewater rafting trip through Alberton Gorge on the Clark Fork, connecting many youth to the river for the very first time.  In 2012, we're expanding our annual Affinity Float to offer over 75 children the gift of a full day spent rafting the Alberton Gorge.  CLICK HERE TO DONATE TODAY, and help dozens of children find adventure on the Clark Fork.  Learn more. The Affinity Float is a fantastic way to give Montana kids the chance to get out, enjoy their surroundings, and help make the Clark Fork River and its irreplaceable waters a bigger part of their lives.  Our hope is that the experience sparks a broader understanding of the river and its surrounding ecosystem.  The experience really helps tomorrow's leaders "see" the river for the first time, and hopefully, also cultivates a desire to preserve and protect the watershed.

This annual event is made possible by generous support of ROW, and the many friends of the Clark Fork Coalition who choose to sponsor either one child for $150 or a boat-load of children for $750.  If you are interested in sponsoring a child on his or her first trip down the Clark Fork River, please contact Liz at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
