Clark Fork Coalition Missoula Montana

The Coalition’s action plan this year keys in on our intent to unite community-building with science-based advocacy.  This reflects an essential take-away from several successful and ongoing campaigns—namely that the goal of creating healthy and vibrant rivers is very much attainable as long as we concurrently pursue the goal of fostering healthy and vibrant communities.  

Our high-level conservation objectives—particularly on the restoration front—focus on capturing opportunities for building partnerships based on the healthy river-healthy community connection.  This work is long-term and directed at deep change.
